The Architect is a creator but also a craftsman leaving behind his ego and his desire for glory. That is the philosophy of architects associates of SITE France and SITE Asia, many expressed in the reviews and architectural publications, in particular in Vietnam.
If SITE France and SITE Asia design great interior spaces such as those of existing or new public buildings - museums, airports, government headquarters, ... in cooperation with other architects responsible for building and structures, SITE also designs and execute interior design of their architectural projects like the OPERA HILTON Hotel in Hanoi or office buildings like E-town 1 & 2 in HCMC. In this case, SITE make interior designs following program and style defined by and with the clients and mindful of the constraints of sustainability, of maintenance and functionality of the projects.
Architects Planners of SITE France and SITE Asia have published many articles in Vietnamese architectural magazines on urban planning and particularly about the ''Great Hanoi” where they expressed their ideas. Within CCIFV, SITE has organized two symposia about the topic in 2009 & 2010 with the Vice-Ministers of construction and official managers for urban planning. Their hope is to see Hanoi become an example of urban success, a city unpolluted, well-landscaped and without ghetto where rich people, less wealthy and non-favored people will share the joy of life. This may happen if wisdom prevails over money, if urban planning laws prohibit the abuse of some property developers, if the green spaces multiply and make it a garden city, if the collective ecological transports can replace the pollutant transports, if the new quarters do not become dormitory towns, repeating the mistakes made in the 90s in the suburbs of Paris, as the famous Sarcelle.
